Description

This "Forged 392" is one of the best street and strip engines available for your supercharged VVT HEMI. Designed for use with 392 based factory cylinder heads (OEM 6.4 Valve Reliefs) or aftermarket Thitek heads for the more serious horsepower enthusiasts, this short block has a final compression ratio of 9.5:1 making it ideal for forced induction applications running pump gas or higher-octane fuels.

Fully machined and expertly assembled, this engine comes with the following:

  • MOPAR 392 OEM Crankshaft, New
  • Carrillo "Bullet" Rods (1700 HP Rating)
  • ARP2000 Rod Bolts
  • Carrillo "Bullet" 2618 Pistons & High-Performance Ring Set

  • Clevite Main Bearings & Thrust Washer

Note 1: OEM Crankshaft is not cut for keyway, we recommend using our crank pinning kit.

Note 2: This engine listing includes all block and crank core fees. HHP will buy back serviceable block and cranks for $1,000 or more depending on condition.

Notes:

At HHP, we regularly use these Bullet Series rods and pistons. Due to the zero-deck design of these pistons, for use on 91 or 93 pump gas engines we recommend running a slightly thicker 0.52" to 0.54" head gasket from Cometic due to the narrow tuning window that can be experienced when running these fuels. These concerns are not present when using factory thickness head gaskets combined with high octane fuels (such as Q16, C16, E85).
