HHP's Review: We give this kit a B+ grade. OEM Quality components at a great price and far less expensive than the OEM kit with a phase lockout. The only negative we noted was the weight of the cam sprocket compared to the OEM version. With the removal of the spring, this unit is not any lighter than the factory component. For standard builds this is not a problem since it will retain it's strength but in high revving high performance applications running prolonged over 7000rpm we may recommend considering other, lighter alternatives.
