On the Wrangler TJ, coil springs and shocks are primary determining factors in ride quality and suspension performance.
Skyjacker specifically engineered a 2-stage dual rate long travel coil. Spring rate progression is from a first Flex Rate to a second Ride Rate. First Flex Rate stage delivers a comfortable ride with the ability to flex/expand during full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). This keeps the coil springs seated in the upper coil mount/bucket and the tires in contact with the terrain.
Second Ride Rate stage only engages after compression past Flex Rate: resulting in a smoother ride.
Longer Adjustable Front and Rear Lower Control Arm Links correct caster angle. The upper frame mount has pressed-in HD OEM style vulcanized rubber bushings and the axle mount has Rock Jock’s 2-1/2 in. forged Johnny Joints. These Johnny Joints provide over 30 degrees of unrestricted Flex movement in any direction.
Longer Replacement Front and Rear Lower Control Link Arms, Front and Rear Bump Stop Spacers, Front and Rear Extended Length Sway Bar End Links, a Drop Pitman Arm, a Transfer Case Lowering Kit and a Rear Track Bar Lower Axle Mount Bracket are all included complete with Bushings and High-Grade Mounting Hardware.
