Working with Moroso, we started running this vacuum pump on our own customers race cars starting with 2012 racing season. These racing vacuum pumps are manufactured from billet aluminum and feature a precision-machined shaft, rotor, and bearings that will withstand the rigors of racing. They work by producing high crankcase vacuum, which increases power by improving ring seal, preventing blowby, and detonation. Allowing the use of lower-tension piston rings for less friction.
