Fully tested with numerous wins under our belt, this complete 8HP90 built transmission has been repeatedly tested under the highest levels of abuse by HHP and shown to safely support repeated passes on full-weight Hellcats down to 8.3 seconds in the quarter mile without failure. We use this transmission at HHP as do the majority of our fastest competitors.

Additional Costs For 2015 and some 2016 Transmissions:
An additional charge of $510.00 may be applied to 2015 and early 2016 model transmissions that require mid-2016+ Star Gears. Mid-2016 the tooth count on the Star gear was changed and in order to incorporate the billet E-Drum, this Star Gear upgrade is required.

Send in your trans to have it built by the experts at SunCoast and save on upfront expenditures or speed up your build by selecting our $3,500.00 core exchange program which allows you up to 30 days upon receipt to return your stock, usable transmission core.
*Late penalties are assigned for cores returned after the 30 calendar day window. Late penalties are assigned at a rate of $50.00/business day (max $250.00/week). Late penalties are used to offset costs incurred by late core returns.
**If you do not have an 8HP90 transmission core and need to purchase a core out-right then we will need to know before you purchase because the core replacement costs are not the same as our core exchange costs. HHP provides the cores and we provide this service at this time to help our fellow racers. Intentionally sending in bad cores or purchasing with no intention of sending a good useable core back within the alloted 30 days only hurts you and your fellow racers. Please let us know if you need a replacement transmission core.
