These TorqueMaster Head Studs are a 230 ksi rated, domestic melt HSLA clean steel. These fasteners feature exceptional stability at elevated service temperatures and offer increased clamp loads for high boost and the most demanding environments. All studs are precision centerless ground and stress relieved to ensure concentricity. All threads are rolled after heat treat for extended fatigue resistance and maximum strength. Each fastener features an internal hex for added ease of installation. Studs, nuts and washers receive a bright black oxide layer to add additional corrosion resistance.
