Kook's has produced a top of the line set of headers for the 6.1/6.4 line of Hemi's. This system is our choice for SRT customers who are getting header upgrades performed here at HHP. Kooks headers have repeatedly shown the highest gains on stock and modified 6.1L motors during dyno testing by HHP.
HHP strongly suggests that you pick up a set of OEM D-Port exhaust gaskets (5038098AA \ 5038099AA) for use when you install these headers. In addition, custom tuning is highly recommended for your SRT when you add long tube headers in order to adjust fuel settings to keep your engine running safe as well as to keep you from getting a Check Engine Light from swapping out your stock catalytic converters. GREEN Cats: Also known in our industry as GESI cats are high Platinum, high performance catalytic converters. These are EPA legal cats and can handle the high exhaust gas temperatures of highly modified forced induction vehicles on pump gas or ethanol fuels. These converters are rated at 850 horsepower total.
