The Kong Performance TVS2650 is a true bolt-on, direct-swap supercharger upgrade for Gen 3 HEMI 6.2L applications. It was designed as a replacement for the factory IHI superchargers (2.4/2.7/3.0L), delivering substantially more airflow potential with the proven EATON TVS2650 rotor pack. This is the go-to choice when you’re pushing beyond the limitations of the stock blower and want a supercharger with serious headroom for high-horsepower street/strip and race builds.

Why Upgrade from the Stock Hellcat Supercharger?

The factory IHI supercharger is an excellent unit, but it becomes airflow-limited at higher boost levels. The TVS2650 provides significantly more airflow headroom, improved efficiency, and reduced blower strain at high power levels.\

Power & Build Guidance (Read This Before You Choose a Pulley)

The TVS2650 is capable of supporting extremely high horsepower, but the correct pulley choice depends on your engine, fuel system, fuel type, octane/E85, and intended use. If you’re not sure what pulley to start with for your combination, contact HHP before ordering and we’ll point you in the right direction.

  • Pump gas builds: typically limited by knock sensitivity and IAT management [3.25" recommended for stock lower pulley, ~15psi]
  • E85 builds: allow more timing and boost potential but require significantly more fuel system capacity
  • Built engines: unlock higher boost potential than stock long blocks

Recommended Supporting Mods (Typical)

  • Fuel system: injector and pump capacity matched to your horsepower goal (especially important for E85)
  • Heat management: heat exchanger upgrades and intercooler support for consistent performance
  • Intake / throttle body: 108mm or 130mm setups for higher airflow combinations
  • Belt drive: proper belt/pulley selection to prevent slip at higher boost
  • Professional tuning: required for pulley/boost changes and fueling changes
