Description

The Walbro 400LPH Single Pump Fuel System eliminates the stock fuel pump and replaces it with a single high output turbine pump. This system utilizes a turbine 262 pump that is designed specifically for High Octane Race Fuels and pump gas.

This is rated for 700 horsepower based on current testing. The system utilizes the stock fuel basket and incorporate a custom high-pressure billet venturi system within the driver side basket. This system will maintain the factory fuel tank as well as factory fuel pressure regulation. This configuration maintains quiet operation even under full load.

This single pump stock replacement fuel system does not require the installation of an additional wiring harness because the 15 amp draw of this system safely utilizes the factory wiring and installs simply by making use of the stock fuel hat and basket.

Boost-a-pumps are a great option where fuel pump upgrades are not available for the application, though a fuel pump upgrade is generally a much safer option comparatively.

Is this fuel pump safe for E-Based fuels (E-10,E-15,E-50,E-85) ect.
If it's not, is there a pump you would recommend for this depending on power demands? See more »

The 400 is not E85 but the 450 is. We do not have a drop-in for E85 however. Depending on your fuel demand you'll possibly want to look at 49-522 for a full return style system with dual 450 pumps.

I currently have a "hotwired" Hellcat pump frankensteined in but can only run on half a tank due to not being able to transfer fuel from the passenger side See more »

Yes, this is a larger drivers side pump designed to retain your crossfeed from the passenger side sending unit. You can see in the third photo the part those tubes get clamped into.

Obviously you’d have to upgrade the wiring harness for the amperage, but otherwise, am I correct? See more »

Unfortunately, this would not work, the bodies are too different for it to work. The 450 body is shorter and the top with the connector is longer and in a completely different configuration to work. the F90000262 has bladed connectors on top and the F90000267 has a wire harness and pigtail and the section above the metal body is taller than the 400 too.

The issue is the fuel hat setup in the newer vehicles, this will not work in 2020+ 5.7L or 2022+ 6.4L due to the newer style fuel basket/fuel level sending unit will not accept the pump as a drop-in and no way to retain the cross-feed from the other side of the tank either.
