Description

Finally, a 392 HEMI piston designed to handle boost! These new drop ins from HHP have all the features that we use in our high boost engines. Designed to use the OEM head gasket, we've eliminated the need for custom pushrods and head gaskets.

Our exclusive combination features a 9.7:1 dish piston made from the highest quality 2618 material from Ross with strutted skirts for less piston deflection under boost. We've added 0.180 wall pins to deal with deflection and steel rings for proper ring seal in boosted applications.

This drop-in kit is made for a stock bore 6.4L, though it will lower the compression for the purpose of handling a boosted application.

We do not have a "Drop In" piston in a 10 over bore but we do have a few 10 over piston and rod combinations for the Hellcats in stock, they will just need to be balanced by your engine builder or machine shop. Please email us at sales@highhorseperformance.com for more information.

No, they come in separate boxes and are full floating pins so no need to heat the rods.
