Working with noted Engine Builder Tony Bischoff of BES Racing Engines (Winner of the 2006 JEGS Engine Masters Challenge) we have developed a new line of HEMI Cams. Each Cam is specially designed, or we should say redesigned, to work better than any other manufacturers cams on the market with the New HEMI. We examined all of the driveability issues and our new redesign addresses all of the problems with the current aftermarket cams including the idling and roughness that have previously been unavoidable. We're extremely confident that our Stage 2 HHP/BES Cam will beat the competition in streetability, power and performance.
All of our Stage 2 cams are designed and tested to work in conjuction with ported and polished heads with upgraded valve springs and computer tuning via the Diablosport Predator with a custom CMR tune is required. In addition it is highly recommended that you combine this combination with a higher stall torque converter due to expected idle issues and if your engine is equipped with MDS, we recommend you replace your MDS lifters. Our dyno output of 370 rear wheel horsepower, which is the equivalent of 450 horsepower at the crank, was seen when this cam was combined with our HHP line of Ported Heads, the older B&G Flash and the Pro Torque 2800 Stall torque converter. This was on a vehicle that also had a full exhaust system and a performance air intake. That's well over SRT-8 Power!

Valve Timing at 0.050 for Intake: 7-/Open & 43/Close
Valve Timing at 0.050 for Exhaust: 45/Open & 5-/Close
Lobe Separation and Lobe Lift: A special combination designed specifically to run with the 5.7L engine.
Rated Dyno Numbers: 75 horsepower when combined with the HHP Stage 2 Package.
Additional Requirements for MDS Engines: For use of this cam on MDS engines, we recommend replacing your lifters with non-MDS lifters, aka the SRT-8 6.1L lifter set.
***Installation of this cam in a 5.7L require 6.1L Push Rods or milling of the heads .030 due to the differences in the base circle of CompCams core**
