Hellcat Superchargers & Blower Upgrades (6.2L Supercharged HEMI)

High Horse Performance (HHP) offers proven supercharger upgrades for 6.2L Hellcat-powered platforms. Whether you’re building a fast street car, a street/strip combo, or a dedicated race setup, the right blower choice and supporting mods make all the difference in horsepower, consistency, and reliability.

Hellcat Supercharger Upgrades

Quick Start: Choose Your Path

  • Street performance (pump gas): Focus on efficiency, safe boost, and heat management.
  • Street/strip (E85): More knock resistance and boost potential, but requires more fuel system.
  • Race / high boost: Blower headroom, belt control, cooling, and a complete fuel system are critical.

If you’re unsure which supercharger is right for your build, contact HHP with your platform (Challenger/Charger/Durango/Trackhawk/TRX), fuel type (gas/E85), and horsepower goal. We’ll help you choose a setup that works the first time.

Why Upgrade the Factory Hellcat Supercharger?

  • More airflow headroom: Built to support higher power levels without running the blower at its limit.
  • Improved efficiency at higher output: Better performance potential when paired with proper supporting mods.
  • Room to grow: Ideal for pulley changes, upgraded throttle body setups, and serious fuel/cooling upgrades.

Supercharger Shopping Guide (What Matters Most)

1) Horsepower Goal

  • 700–850 WHP: Moderate boost with strong cooling and a conservative tune.
  • 850–1000 WHP: More airflow, stronger fuel system, and better heat control become mandatory.
  • 1000–1300+ WHP: Requires full supporting system: fuel, cooling, belt drive, and often a built engine.

2) Fuel Type

  • Pump gas: Typically limited by knock sensitivity and heat. Cooling is king.
  • E85: More boost and timing potential, but requires significantly more fuel volume.

3) Supporting Mods

  • Fuel system: injectors, pump(s), and pressure control matched to the power goal
  • Cooling: heat exchanger and intercooler strategy for consistent IAT control
  • Airflow: throttle body and intake setup sized for the combination
  • Belt control: pulley/belt setup designed to prevent slip at higher boost
  • Tuning: professional calibration is required for boost and fuel changes
