Definition of a cold air intake:
CAI- cold air intake " Placing the intake duct so as to use the ram-air effect to give positive pressure at speed, located out of the engine bay for decreased temperatures increasing power"
In other words if its still located in the engine bay your robbing yourself of that extra power!!
Flow bench results:
*Results as follows at 28" of water:
*oem intake w/oem filter = 701.3 cfm
*oem intake w/K&N drop in = 729.1 cfm
*4" BWoody CAI = 1378.9 cfm
*Flowbench results showed a whopping 677.6 cfm increase over the OEM airbox!*
**Note: 2014 Jeep SRT-8's with headlamp washers may require a spacer on the intake bracket or modification to fit.**
Washer Bottle: The OEM washer bottle is not compatible with this intake, as it is too large. You can purchase the washer bottle kit here. If you choose not to purchase the washer bottle you will not receive the harness extension.
If you do not wish to relocate your washer bottle, we recommend considering the Velocity Plus intake.
