Top Quality Construction
BBK Performance shorty headers are made from 1-3/4" CNC-machined mandrel bent tubing with 3/8" thick die-stamped flanges. The large diameter primary tube design creates unrestricted airflow for ultimate horsepower gains. These headers are pressure tested to ensure leak free performance.
Installation
These Ram 5.7 shorty headers are designed as a direct bolt on. For use with factory or any aftermarket mid pipes. Kit includes new gaskets and hardware.

Installing ANY type of header wrap will VOID your BBK Warranty
"Heat Protection"
Use supplied heat wrap, wire, zip ties to protect hoses and wires from resting on header tubes. Use zip ties to run thru coil pack mounts to bring coolant hoses up from header tubes and some models just remove factory plastic valve cover mounts on coolant lines for adequate clearance. When wrapping any hoses or wires for protection cut heat wrap amount needed for area to protect and then use supplied stainless wire strips and cut into sections and twist-tie in place. "Pics" Above are for later cable driven model transmissions remove factory cable bracket and install BBK supplied bracket as shown in pics and make sure to not overtighten hose clamp. This gives the transmission cable more clearance from header/heat protection.
