- All Jeep JK Dana 44 ring gears are thick and require a 3.73 & down carrier. The RD117, RD147 & RD157 are all 3.73 & down carriers and are suitable for the JK Dana 44 housing and ring & pinion gear sets.
- Most Jeep TJ Dana 44 Rubicon's use RD117 or RD147 with original gears. When using aftermarket or non-stock gears, contact for which locker to use.
