Genuine Mopar 6.2L Hellcat Short Block, same as 68262362AA.
This brand new OEM MOPAR Hellcat short block was sourced from MOPAR but is being sold by HHP as an overstock, non-standard MOPAR listing. We source these shortblocks from MOPAR long block engines that have been partially disassembled in order to utilize the top end and accessories in a custom specialty engine program. What we are left with are new, zero mile, Hellcat factory short blocks that were recently produced. Because they are sourced from disassembled long block engines, they no longer carry the MOPAR factory 3/36 warranty with them which is why we are selling them below market value and with no core charges attached.
For comparison, this factory short block is a great option for 6.2L customers not wanting to spend the $2,000.00 additional for one of our basic built short blocks with a basic forged connecting rod. We also have upgraded shortblocks with 1500HP+ capable rod and piston options, these start around $3,000.00 additional when taking block and crankshaft core charges into consideration.
This OEM Hellcat short block will also include the Hellcat OEM camshaft at no additional cost!
